Emenda在2006年由Neil Langmead和Steve Howard 共同创建，以“为全世界客户提供世界领先的软件测试和质量顾问服务“为愿景。Neil和Steve都拥有10年以上的软件测试经验，并且在一些世界知名的跨国公司担任顾问职务，在嵌入式软件测试和诸如DO178B（航空业）标准等方面具有丰富的经验。他们希望在软件质量领域发布世界级的软件工具，因客户需要提供顾问服务和解决方案。

2007年，Emenda在Stephane Rougerie的领导下成立了法国办公室。
